The queen of Calabasas is headed to the American Horror Story universe.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kim Kardashian will be stepping into her acting bag with a mysterious new role in the popular Ryan Murphy franchise.
The reality star is also set to be joined by AHS favourite Emma Roberts, who had previously starred in Coven, Freakshow, Cult, Apocalypse and 1984.
In addition to Kardashian and Roberts, Halley Feiffer has been tapped to be the sole writer and showrunner of the forthcoming season, which is a first for the long-running series.
“Kim is among the biggest and brightest televison stars in the world, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” Murphy said in a statement to the aforementioned news outlet.
“Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role, especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”
To boost even more hype for the show’s 12th season, Kardashian uploaded a teaser featuring a creepy rendition of the classic lullaby, Rock-a-by-baby.
“Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are delicate,” the video teased.
Shortly after the news made headlines, fans flocked to social media to express their excitement over The Kardashians star’s involvement.
One person wrote: “Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian in on AHS season. Bitch I’m living for this.”

Roberts also celebrated the news by sharing the same Instagram teaser with the caption: “This summer… Kim and I are DELICATE.”
The 12th season of the beloved horror anthology – which is tentatively titled AHS: Delicate – is reportedly based on Danielle Valetine’s upcoming novel Delicate Condition.
According to the book’s synopsis, the story follows Anna Alcott, an actress who longs for a family. After deciding to go through the IVF process to get pregnant, strange and unusual things begin to occur that threaten her dreams of becoming a mother.
“Crucial medicines are lost. Appointments get swapped without her knowledge. Cryptic warnings have her jumping at shadows. And despite everything she’s gone through to make this pregnancy a reality, not even her husband is willing to believe that someone is playing twisted games with her,” the synopsis reads.
“Then her doctor tells her she’s had a miscarriage―except Anna’s convinced she’s still pregnant despite everything the grave-faced men around her claim… Vague warnings become direct threats as someone stalks her through the bleak ghost town of the snowy Hamptons.
“As her symptoms and sense of danger grow ever more horrifying, Anna can’t help but wonder what exactly she’s carrying inside of her…and why no one will listen when she says something is horribly, painfully wrong.”
We can’t wait to see Kardashian and Roberts immerse themselves in the upcoming season of American Horror Story.
