Adore Delano has spilled the tea on her Drag Race future.
Back in 2013, the beloved talent memorably made her franchise debut in the show’s sixth season, where she won two maxi-challenges and placed joint second/third place with Courtney Act behind winner Bianca Del Rio.
Three years later, Adore sashayed back into the werkroom for All Stars 2 alongside legendary contestants such as Alaska, Katya, Detox and Roxxxy Andrews, where she made herstory as the first-ever queen to quit the series.
Since her iconic self-elimination, Adore’s star has continued to rise, releasing new music and embarking on world tours.
She also made waves in July 2023 when she publicly came out as trans in a heartwarming video on Instagram.
While Adore has remained booked and busy over the last seven years, the California-based queen still has her eye on a Drag Race All Stars comeback.
During the recent red carpet premiere for Smile 2, the 35-year-old entertainer shared a wholesome life update to Out regarding her transition and career future.
“It’s very metamorphosis right now. I’m trying to find my holographic Pokemon, Charizard vibes. I’m not holographic yet, but I’m very, like, Charmeleon. We’re getting wheels under our skateboard, and we’re figuring things out,” she explained.
When interviewer Raffy Ermac joked about the possibility of her appearing on All Stars season 25, Adore hinted that her highly-anticipated return would occur after she evolves past her current Charmelon stage.

“If it’s that long, I’ll be ready to sweep those hoes. I really think I would. But I feel like the timing, it was like 2016 when I did [All Stars 2]. So, I wasn’t ready. I’m getting there. When I get like Charizard Holographic, we’ll get there, but right now, I’m Charmeleon,” she said.
Adore’s recent interview comes a few years after she revealed to fans that she almost competed in All Stars 6.
“This is a little T for you guys. I was actually almost going to do it, but my talent number was too risky, I think, but I was not letting up,” she exclaimed during an Instagram Live in 2021.
Adore went on to say that her comeback didn’t come to fruition due to technical issues regarding her talent show number, saying the producers wouldn’t have been able to “approve it in time”.
“On top of it, I was going through some shit, mentally, and I was like, ‘I don’t think this is gonna be well documented again,'” she added.
“So if they ask me, I have to be in the right headspace. There’s nothing that I would’ve gained at that time. Yeah, I almost did it. I was getting the skinny on which queens were gonna be on, and I was like, ‘Oh, this is gonna be a fun season.'”
We’re counting down the days till Adore reaches her Charizard holographic level.
