Chad Michaels has spilt some gag-worthy tea on this iconic All Stars 1 fight.

In 2012, fans were treated to the very first entry of the popular spin-off series.

Collecting contestants from the first four US seasons, All Stars 1 had the potential to be the best season of Drag Race due to the sheer amount of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent that sashayed back into the werkroom.

Unfortunately, All Stars 1 became one of the least popular entries in the expansive franchise due to the contestants competing as teams vs individuals.  

While its format turned off an array of fans, the season featured some of the most iconic moments in Drag Race herstory – including the chaotic fight between Mimi Imfurst and the rest of her sisters.

From Raven expressing her disbelief that “Mimi Imfurst was number third in the voting?” to Tammie Brown randomly shouting, “Well, c’mon Teletubby! Teleport us to Mars!”, the unforgettable showdown has been cemented in the brains of viewers for the last 12 years.

However, in a recent interview with PRIDE, All Stars 1 winner Michaels revealed that there were more intense moments from the fight that didn’t make it to TV.

“You know what you didn’t see? Tammie Brown is so animated. She literally ran around the room. In my mind, she ran up the walls over the ceiling, back down, and sat down,” the drag talented revealed.

“The kinetic energy was so tense at the time. I’m giving you the tea.”

In addition to Tammie’s colourful reactions, Chad opened up about Mimi’s dramatic exit from the All Stars Lounge – revealing that she and the other queens were forced to separate following the chaotic showdown.

“Pandora went after [Mimi], and the [production] came out and got us,” she explained. “We had to sit away from each other so that we couldn’t talk, bitch, moan, or anything.”

Chad’s recent interview isn’t the first time she shared some juicy unaired Drag Race drama.

During a 2020 appearance on Entertainment Weekly’s BINGE podcast, the beloved Cher impersonator spilt the tea on an unaired exchange between her and Phi Phi O’Hara on Drag Race season four. 

“There was one night when they let us stay an extra hour to work on wigs,” explained Chad. “She started in on me, and I said something like ‘You know what Phi Phi? I was on The Jay Leno Show. I appeared on The Jay Leno Show as Cher. What have you done?’ And she just goes, ‘Yeah, you were on The Jay Leno Show… as a joke!'”

She went on to say that her “head could’ve exploded” from the drama and conflama, and that the “tragedy of the story is that it was not caught on camera”. She added: “It would’ve rivaled the Party City scene.”
