The producers of RuPaul’s Drag Race have confirmed that they are developing a new feature-length film starring some of the show’s most-loved queens.
Up front and centre would be Mama Ru herself, as she takes off on the maiden voyage of Glamazonian Airways, which is packed with some of drag’s finest talent.
However, they are confronted by some trolls onboard who don’t believe in loving yourself, and are trying their hardest to bring the plane down.
In the words of Bianca Del Rio: “Not today, Satan.”
Variety reports that World of Wonder are developing the film, in addition to the recently-announced Drag Race Thailand.
“We have seen an overwhelming global demand for scripted and unscripted content illuminating the stories within drag culture,” said World of Wonder co-founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato.

“What was previously thought of as niche is now undeniably mainstream. World of Wonder will continue to bring meaningful, fabulous, filled-with-love entertainment to fans both on screen and off.”
What’s more, World of Wonder also confirmed plans to bring the hugely popular DragCon to international territories in 2019.
The convention – which welcomed over 80,000 fans in Los Angeles and New York City in 2017 – will return to the US later this year.
Meanwhile, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 will start in the US on VH1 on 25 January.
The superstar series will feature Morgan McMichaels, Shangela, Milk, BenDeLaCreme, Trixie Mattel, Kennedy Davenport, Thorgy Thor, Chi Chi DeVayne and Aja, with a tenth mystery queen to be revealed.
Comedy Central UK will launch the latest season at 10pm on 27 January, 48 hours after its US premiere.
