GAY TIMES’ Editorial Director Lewis Corner has been named Editor of the Year (Consumer Media) at the PPA Awards 2023.
The annual event – which marked its 43rd year – took place at City Central at The HAC and celebrated shortlisted individuals and media companies across the UK.
The PPA Awards are considered the most prestigious platform to recognise the incredible work of media businesses and individuals across every corner of the publishing industry.
At this year’s ceremony – hosted by actor, comedian and TV presenter Ellie Taylor – there were 27 categories across B2B and consumer media, which were judged by a panel of 48 senior executives.
“Lewis wowed our judges with evidence of extraordinary brand transformation using a bold, modern and informative strategy,” the PPA Awards 2023 judges commented.
“The reach of the brand under their leadership has grown astronomically.”

The PPA – which stands for the Professional Publishers Association – is the main publishing body in the UK and was first founded in 1913.
