Hayley Kiyoko and Kehlani have debuted the video for their collaboration What I Need. The R&B love jam is the next single off Kiyoko’s critically-acclaimed debut album, Expectations, following the release of Curious earlier this year.
The video – self-directed by Kiyoko – sees the up-and-coming LGBTQ artists play childhood best friends on the run, and on their journey, their platonic relationship becomes romantic.

Kiyoko kicks off the second leg of her Expectations tour today, and will join Panic! At the Disco’s headlining tour in July.
