Netflix has dropped another Heartstopper teaser, and it’s incredibly sweet.
Over the last few months, the popular streamer has kept fans fed by sharing a handful of content from the show’s forthcoming third season.
In May, viewers were given a sneak peek into Charlie and Nick’s pre-beach meeting, which included their iconic “hi” greeting and Billie Eilish’s romantic track ‘BIRDS OF A FEATHER’.
Two months later, Netflix dropped first-look images that showcased our favourite Truham/Higgs high school students in various states of lovey-dovey-ness and, in Nick’s (Kit Connor) case, distress.
Lastly, fans were also surprised with a clip of the gang dancing the night away at what looks like a holiday party and a teaser of Tori’s new friend (maybe romantic partner?), Michael Holden, played by Darragh Hand.
Fortunately, Netflix is showing no signs of slowing down their Heartstoppper season three gift-giving.
On 3 August, the streamer celebrated the two-month countdown till the show’s premiere by releasing a clip of Nick and Charlie’s emotional reunion.
At the start of the teaser, Nick weaves in and out of the crowded Truham halls before spotting Charlie at his locker.
Closing the distance, Nick pulls his boyfriend into a warm hug before the two exchange their classic “hi” pleasantries.
“No kiss?” Nick playfully adds, resulting in Charlie whispering, “Hugs first.”

To no surprise, the 41-second clip was an immediate hit with fans (including us), with many taking to social media to express their excitement.
“When Charlie and Nick hug, my heart heals,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Another fan echoed similar sentiments, writing: “NICK AND CHARLIE HOW I’VE MISSED YOU.”
A third person added: “Can we talk about the way Charlie flings himself back into a hug after they say hi like it’s making me insane.”
As previously mentioned, Heartstopper season three is set to drop on 3 October.
Picking up where season two left off, the eight episodes will follow Charlie as he tries to “tell Nick that he loves him,” while Nick “also has something important to say to Charlie”.
The synopsis adds: “As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the friends begin to realise that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges.
“As they learn more about each other and their relationships, plan social events and parties and start thinking about university choices, everyone must learn to lean on those they love when life doesn’t go to plan.”
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Connor teased that the show’s third outing will be a bit more mature in addition to featuring the classic Heartstopper energy viewers have come to love.
“We’ve aged it up a little bit. It matures a little bit with the audience, and as the characters grow up, you start to see them exploring more adult topics,” he explained.
“It gets a bit hotter, raunchier. Yeah, it’s generally just a little bit mature but still the classic Heartstopper love.”
