Netflix has dropped another Heartstopper teaser, and it’s incredibly sweet.
Over the last few months, fans have been treated to exciting content from the show’s highly anticipated third season – ranging from first-look photos, teaser clips and a romantic full-length trailer featuring the dreamy Jonathan Bailey.
While the show’s premiere date is right around the corner – just under two weeks to be exact – Netflix has shown no signs of slowing down their Heartstopper season three gift-giving.
On 21 September, the popular streamer surprised fans by dropping an adorable scene featuring Elle (Yasmin Finney) and Tao (Will Gao).
At the start of the video, Tao gifts Elle a bracelet with the first letter of his name on it.
“See, I got one too, so we’re matching. Look E for Elle,” the film enthusiast exclaims.
In response, Elle playfully teases Tao for the heartwarming gesture, stating: “This is the sappiest thing you’ve ever done.”
However, the charming gift exchange didn’t end there. After instructing Tao to close his eyes, Elle procures a sunflower, which excites Tao.
“You got me flowers when you first asked me out,” Elle explains, which results in Tao exclaiming, “We’re so ridiculous. I love it!”
Like the previous Heartstopper season three sneak peeks, Tao and Elle’s romantic scene was an immediate hit with fans.

One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “Stop, I’m gonna ugly giggle all season again with these two.”
Another viewer commented: “They are such a cute and beautiful couple. I missed them sm.”
A third fan added: “HOW HE SCREAMS THAT HE LOVES THE FLOWER BYE BYE BYE.”
As previously mentioned, Heartstopper fans won’t have to wait too long for season three, with the new episodes set to drop on 3 October.
Picking up where season two left off, the new batch of episodes will follow Charlie (Joe Locke) as he tries to “tell Nick that he loves him,” while Nick (Kit Connor) “also has something important to say to Charlie”.
The synopsis adds: “As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the friends begin to realise that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges.
In addition to the aforementioned cast members, Corinna Brown (Tara), Kizzy Edgell (Darcy), Tobie Donovan (Isaac), Jenny Walser (Tori), Cormac Hyde-Corrin (Harry), Fisayo Akinade (Nathan), Chetna Pandya (Coach Singh), Bradley Riches (James), and Bel Priestly (Naomi) will be reprising their respective roles.
Lastly, the season will feature a string of new characters, including Bailey as Jack Maddox, Hayley Atwell as Aunt Diane, Eddie Marian as Geoff, Darragh Hand as Michael Holden, and Jensen Clayden as Charlie and Tori’s little cousin, Oliver Spring.
In a recent interview with GAY TIMES, Locke and Walser spilt all the tea about Heartstopper’s darkest (and horniest) season yet.
“Charlie goes through a really dark period with his mental health this season. We see him experience that and come out the other side, and then he gets really horny… That’s the season,” the Agatha All Along star teased.
Walser echoed similar sentiments while giving further insight into Tori’s journey.
“What’s nice this season is we get to see a bit more of Tori’s own [journey] and hopefully people understand there’s some struggles going on for her as well. She’s opening up to the idea of letting some friendships in, namely Michael. It’s nice to see her as a bit more of a 3D character and not purely there for Charlie,” she said.
