A new “After Hours” opening party has been announced ahead of RuPaul’s DragCon, with the full cast of Drag Race UK season five set to attend on Friday 12 January.
Alexis Saint-Pete, Banksie, Cara Melle, DeDeLicious, Ginger Johnson, Kate Butch, Michael Marouli, Miss Naomi Carter, Tomara Thomas and Vicki Vivacious are all confirmed to perform, with the lineup for Saturday 13 January to be announced soon.
DragCon UK will return to ExCel London on the 13 and 14 January, with beloved judge Michelle Visage set to attend the third iteration of the event. “It is a safe space and a wonderful place for everyone,” said Visage on BBC’s The One Show.
The event will feature panel and Q&A sessions, vendors, exhibitors and many more things for attendees to enjoy. The gag-worthy convention line-up will see more than 100 queens from across the franchise in attendance to slay in the new year.
Queens confirmed to attend DragCon UK so far include Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Loosey Laduca, Lawrence Chaney, Krystal Versace, Scarlett Harlett and Charity Kase, Pangina Heals and Paloma. See the full list of the latest confirmed queens here.
“After Hours Parties” featuring some of the most loved queens are available as a separately ticketed event the night before and the Saturday of the convention.

The fifth season of Drag Race UK premiered Thursday 28 September on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer at 9pm.
Guest judges include Aisling Bea, Alexandra Burke, Cush Jumbo, Daphne Guinness, Joel Dommett, Kristen McMenamy, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Suranne Jones and Yasmin Finney, as well as cameos from Edward Enninful OBE, Carol Vorderman, Karen Hauer and Claudimar Neto.
