Jackie Chan’s daughter, 19-year-old Etta Ng Chok Lam, married her girlfriend earlier this month.
She wed Andi Autumn on 8 November, and posted an adorable tribute to their love and the queer community on Instagram.
“If you never give up on love and you put all your heart into the family you’ve dreamed of, an open mind and warm heart will guide you to happiness,” she wrote.
“We have been in the persuit of happiness the day we were born. Abused as children who never felt love, we have so much to give.”
She added: “We have concorcured our fears, accepted our faults, and now we understand that the people who hurt us are hurting still.
“We have all been hurt but if you can dream of love, you can find it. Love is kind, it does not judge. Love is both strength and weakness. Love can make change. Love wins!”
Etta came out as lesbian last year in a post on Instagram. She wrote: “In case no one got the memo, I’m gay.”

Etta was born through an affair with beauty queen Elaine Ng, so she has never been close with her father.
In the past she said: “He is my biological father but he is not in my life. He never existed in my life. I will never regard him as a father.”
Last year, while he was promoting his film Foreigner, Jackie was asked about his feelings towards his daughter’s coming out.
Despite their estrangement, he had this brief message to say: “If she likes it that’s fine.”
After the wedding, Etta explained why she and her wife chose to return and live in Hong Kong.
“My home is Hong Kong, a beautiful city full of life and passion,” she told fans.
“Home is where love is. Home is safety and I know too many that do not feel safe within the environment they were given but the new tide is rising.
“A home is with the family that you can choose and with that we are never alone. Love is undoutbly (sic) stronger than blood.
“Everyone deserves love and not until I felt love can I be sure that understanding, connecting, attention and love in the face of hate can heal the most depraved of hearts.”
