Layton Williams has made Strictly Come Dancing history with his latest performance.
During week four of the long-running competition, the Bad Education star and his partner Nikita Kuzmin danced a Cha Cha routine to Whitney Houston’s hit track ‘Million Dollar Bill.’
At the start of their performance, Williams is shown strutting down a flight of stairs wearing a gorgeous silver jumpsuit and luxurious red coat.
After sharing a few sultry glances with Kuzmin and the crowd, the pair launched into the effortlessly cool routine – which was full of smooth steps, drama, intrigue and off-the-wall chemistry.
Toward the end of the duo’s Cha Cha, Williams executed an epic leap that transitioned into a split, which he did all while smiling from ear to ear.
When their performance was complete, Williams and Kuzmin were treated to a standing ovation and rave reviews from the judges.
“Well, last week, I told you about your partnering skills. You take constructive criticism very, very well,” said Shirley Ballas.
“You came back here, you didn’t try to outshine anybody, you realised it is teamwork and teamwork is what you did.”
Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood echoed similar sentiments, with the former describing Williams’ performance as “brilliant” and the latter repeating the phrase “million dollar bill.”
Lastly, Motsi Mabuse praised the beloved talent for adding “a whole kind of flavour” to the competition.
“It was soft but strong. Powerful… I could watch it day and night. Bring. It. On,” she exclaimed.
When co-host Claudia Winkleman asked how he felt following the judges’ glowing praises, the 29-year-old singer said: “It’s really good. I don’t think people realise I’m working really hard.”
After expressing his gratitude for Kuzman’s support, Ballas, Beke, and Horwood gave Williams a nine while Mabuse awarded him with a 10, equalling a total score of 37 points.
The good news didn’t stop there for the Billy Elliot star. While celebrating his incredible scores, Winkleman informed the young talent that he broke not one but two Strictly records.
“So, the highest score of the series, and the earliest 10 for a Cha Cha in Strictly history,” she exclaimed to a shocked Williams.
In addition to the judges and his Strictly castmates, the I Hate Suzie star received heaps of praise from fans on social media.
One person wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter): “First of all…how beautiful is @LaytonWilliams and secondly how much do I love him and thirdly..its the dancing for me and finally I can’t cope!”
Another fan commented: “@LaytonWilliams You two are theeee most amazing couple on strictly!!! 10s 10s 10s across the board face card NEVAAAH DECLINES MY GAWD”
Since making his Strictly debut, Williams has made massive waves in the beloved competition with his stellar dance skills and electric chemistry with Kuzmin.
While his Viennese waltz from Week Three yielded his lowest overall score, the performance still generated positive buzz from viewers due to his sickening Betty Rizzo drag ensemble.
