Myylo has released his new single, Cyborg, and it’s a bop!
The pop anthem is the American singer-songwriter’s sixth single, and it comes just weeks after his whimsical track, Jonesing.
“When I wrote Cyborg, I had been scrolling through my ex’s Instagram and wrapping myself up in nostalgia,” he told us.
“So, words about him fell out seamlessly one night while I was jamming to a Carole King inspired chord progression. I think that, even if breaking up is the right thing to do, it’s hard to ever let someone go entirely.”

When we spoke to Myylo last year, he told us that he’s passionate about male artists expressing emotion in their music and queer artists using the correct pronouns, rather the use of ‘you’ in order to appeal to a wider audience.
“It was definitely something that when I was 19 or 20 that I was negotiating with myself, but as I put out more and more music, I think it’s important to be honest,” he explained. “I kind of want artists to just say it, to me it’s important to use ‘he’ and ‘him’ in songs.”
