Miley Cyrus has opened up about flirting with Ariana Grande in a new interview.
Over the last few weeks, the Plastic Hearts singer has reflected on her extensive and successful career with her ‘Used To Be Young’ TikTok series.
Across an array of short clips – which have been uploaded to TikTok – Cyrus dishes on her time playing Hannah Montana, retiring from touring, her controversial music moments and more.
In one of the series’ latest episodes, the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer spilt the tea on her 2015 collaborative performance with Grande – which supposedly featured a flirtatious moment between the two.
“This is as serious as it can be. Me and Ariana Grande in onesies performing in the backyard,” Cyrus said while looking at a brief clip of their performance.
During the backyard session, the pair delivered a soulful rendition of Crowded House’s ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over.”
Cyrus then revealed: “I was flirting with her. And she was a little scared. We were having fun.”
Since collaborating on the aforementioned performance, Grande and Cyrus have formed a strong friendship – which the latter gushed about towards the end of the video.
“Ariana’s a real friend. There’s never been a time where I’ve asked her to do something that was important to me that she didn’t come through, and the same thing for me with her,” she said.
This isn’t the first time the ‘Mother’s Daughter’ singer has shown love to Grande.
In a 2019 interview on The Howard Stern Show, the Grammy-nominated talent described the ‘Dangerous Woman’ singer as “so great.”

“Anything I’ve ever asked her to be involved in… she’s always done it. So I can never say a bad thing about her because she’s always been so great,” she explained.
“It’s not about how many hours are spent or how many inside jokes you have, but it’s about the real shit.”
In addition to her flirty moment with Grande, Cryus has recently used the ‘Used To Be Young’ series to reflect on another bisexual moment in her life.
When talking about a paparazzi photo of her, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift and Emily Osment, Cryus said: “This picture has become a meme where it says ‘be the Miley of your friend group.'”
In the snapshot, the ‘River’ singer is shown wearing sweatpants, while Swift, Lovato and Osment wear dresses.
Cyrus then joked that the public should have known that she was bisexual from the picture alone.
“If you guys didn’t know I was bisexual from this damn picture, I don’t know what’s wrong with you,” she said.
“I literally think we were leaving the Grammys to go to the Cheesecake Factory. Me and Emily, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato are going to the Cheesecake Factory. These are some classy ladies.”
