Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson has shared new details on her recent engagement to Ramona Agruma.
On 18 February, the lovebirds announced that they were tying the knot with a heartfelt Disney-themed engagement.
“We said YES! Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring, and to Bog Iger and the incredible team at Disney @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise,” she wrote on Instagram.
Alongside the romantic caption, Wilson uploaded a couple of snapshots from the occasion – which featured the pair covered in roses while standing in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle.
The post also included a detailed look at Agruma’s supersized engagement ring.
After celebrating her engagement in private for the last two weeks, Wilson shared some behind-the-scenes details during a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.
“I just proposed to my girlfriend Ramona [and] I was like, ‘Do I get down on one knee? What do I do?’ And I was like, ‘I might as well,’ so I got down on one knee,” she explained.
Wilson then revealed that Agruma joined her on one knee before finally popping the question.
“So we’re in the middle of Disneyland proposing, and luckily they put some topiary trees around us to give us a little bit of privacy, and it was just beautiful,” she added.
Towards the end of her statement, Wilson admitted to collapsing in the park because she was “overwhelmed” with the romantic proposal.
“She said yes. And then I was like, ‘Ah okay, great,’ and then I was so overwhelmed,” she said.

“I’ve never been engaged before, or proposed to, or proposed, so it was such a huge thing in my life, and then we went on this new ride, and I go, ‘Hang on, I just have to like…’
“I literally collapsed on the floor for like five minutes, and then I go, ‘Okay, I’m good. Let’s get churros.'”
Wilson and Agruma first went public with their relationship back in June 2022.
“I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess,” she wrote on Instagram.
Two days after her landmark post, however, it was revealed that the Bridesmaids star was forced to come out.
“Basically, with the situation, where a journalist is threatening to out you, you’ve got to hurry, and some people we didn’t get a chance to tell before it came out publicly. And that’s not ideal,” she explained in an interview with The Australian.
“There are levels to telling people. You tell your close family and your friends and not everybody. Across our two families, not everybody is as accepting as what you’d hope for, and we were trying to be respectful to those people and tell them in our way.”
Fortunately for Wilson and Arguma, the setback didn’t prevent them from falling deeper in love.
