If you like your music playlists crammed full of queer brilliance, then have we got some great news for you.
GAY TIMES has become the first British LGBTQ media brand to be featured as a curator on Apple Music, giving us even more opportunity to amplify queer voices from within our community.
Our official channel will feature playlists that shine a spotlight on LGBTQ talent, anthems and allies, both established and emerging.
To add our playlists to your library, you can visit the GAY TIMES curator page on Apple Music now by clicking here.
We are launching our Apple Music channel with four exciting new playlists, which will be updated regularly.
First up is Queer & Now: The Best New Songs By LGBTQ Acts, a playlist showcasing brilliant new queer music talent, as well as fresh tracks from more well-known members of the community. Emerging talent includes L Devine, Aaron Porter and Miss Benny, while new songs by more established names such as Years & Years, Kevin Abstract, and Troye Sivan also feature.
Queeroes: The Very Best LGBTQ Artists features all of those classic anthems we’ve connected with from across the decades, all by iconic queer pioneers in music. This is where you’ll find classic songs by the likes of George Michael and Sylvester, next to modern bops by Demi Lovato and Frank Ocean.
We also have The Allied Pop Forces; a playlist bursting with huge pop bops by some of our most beloved allies. Think Madonna, Kylie, Beyoncé, Cher, and many many more.
And to celebrate our new music-themed issue Sounds Like Queer Spirit, we have curated a playlist of all the incredible music talent featured in the magazine.
It is led by songs performed by our cover stars Lauren Jauregui, Pabllo Vittar, Will Young and Marina, while Greyson Chance, Sateen and Allie X are a few of names you’ll find inside the new issue and on this playlist.
With so much exciting queer music talent out in the world, there will plenty of new playlists added to our channel in the coming months.
All you have to do is add the playlists to your Apple Music Library to keep up to date with the best new LGBTQ music talent.
You can listen to over 45 million songs, ad-free with zero commercials on Apple Music. Plus get unlimited downloads to your library, and listen anywhere without Wi-Fi or using data. There’s no commitment, you can cancel anytime.
