Congratulations are in order for Colton Underwood, who is expecting his first child with husband Jordan C. Brown.
On 21 May, the former star of The Bachelor announced via Instagram that their “little boy is coming this fall”, accompanied by photos of the couple and a sonogram.
In a further statement, Underwood described his journey to fatherhood as a “rollercoaster of emotions – humbling, exciting and truly eye-opening”.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome our baby boy and really get to embrace ‘Daddyhood’ in a whole new way,” he said.
“Jordan and I are looking forward to all the little moments, like holding, feeding, and changing him. But above all, we’re most excited to show him just how loved he already is.”
Their Instagram post was met with love and support from stars such as Bobby Berk, Chrishell Stause, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Johnny Sibilly, Kate Hudson, Lance Bass and Sophia Bush.
Underwood and Brown tied the knot on 13 May, 2023.
He started dating Brown, a political strategist for the Democratic Party, in the summer of 2021 and got engaged during a “weekend getaway” in Big Sur after Colton’s birthday in March 2022.
Underwood is best known for appearing on The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, before coming out as gay in a Good Morning America interview two years ago.
He made history as the first lead in the Bachelor franchise to come out as gay.
