A press release for Fox’s upcoming live adaptation of Rent has seemingly leaked the first contestant from All Stars 4.
Valentina – who became a fan-favourite contestant after her stint on Drag Race’s ninth season – has been confirmed to star in the upcoming fourth season of the popular All Star spin-off.
Her inclusion on the show has been leaked after it was announced that she would star as Angel Dumott Schunard in Rent, for which she will become the first ever drag queen to star in a live television musical production.
Valentina will star alongside Vanessa Hudgens, Tinashe, Kiersey Clemons, Brandon Victor Dixon, Jordan Fisher, Brennin Hunt and Mario.
The Hollywood Reporter also confirmed the news, revealing that Valentina is “returning to the Drag Race franchise and will compete in the All Stars season.”
Looks like we were right about one contestant on our speculated cast list for All Stars 4…
Earlier this month, RuPaul told a panel at DragCon: “I can’t tell you exactly when it will be [All Stars 4], but it’s gonna be sooner than you think.”
Does this mean we’ll be getting All Stars before season 11? Anusthing is possible, right?
VH1 announced the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars back in August.
Pamela Host – boss at VH1 – said on 22 August: “This franchise is truly a force to be reckoned with.
“Our passionate and talented queens continue to speak to our diverse fans who are not only looking for entertainment, but also the encouragement and inspiration to be their unique selves.”
