The highly-anticipated album will include Ariana’s massive comeback single, No Tears Left To Cry.
Ariana Grande has seemingly confirmed the release date of her upcoming fourth studio album.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the American superstar said she’s going to do “something special” on the 20th of every month until the album comes out.
Grande also said there are only three 20ths until its release, which means it’s most likely to be come out on 20 July.
The album – which she revealed is titled Sweetener – will feature the massive hit single, No Tears Left To Cry, which debuted in the top three of the UK Singles Chart and US Billboard Hot 100 last week.
Sweetener, in her words, is “about bringing light to a situation, or to someone’s life, or somebody else who brings light to your life, or sweetening the situation”.
After the reveal, Fallon addressed the tragic bombing that took place at her concert in Manchester last year.
“I know it’s tough for everybody, tough for fans and tough for you, and I know you haven’t done any interviews, and I understand that,” he said.
“I just wanted to say thank you so much for coming on the show and for being strong and for entertaining and for showing up and going back to Manchester and doing a benefit. I thought that was awesome of you. I just think you’re so strong and so cool.”
He then quoted Ariana’s inspirational message from after the attack: “We won’t let hate win. Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder, and to live more kindly and generously than we did before.”
