Tiffany Pollard has been named the host of a brand new queer dating show called Looking for A Third (screaming).
OUTtv has commissioned the new series that will feature eight, 60 minute episodes. True to the dating show format, the show will take place in a villa. However, this is where the convention ends.
Looking for A Third will spotlight one gay couple and one lesbian couple each searching for a third person to create the perfect throuple amongst a selection of singles.
The legendary star, also known as “New York”, will be taking on dual responsibilities: “I’m thrilled to be returning to the dating genre as both a host and Executive Producer.
“Partnering with OUTtv is always such a joy because it’s my honor to get to tell incredible queer stories. I know this show is going to be silly, romantic, and filled with so much love.”
Philip Webb, COO of OUTtv, said: “We are excited to be working with Tiffany Pollard on this adventurous new dating series.
“It is not uncommon for couples to consider adding a third person to their relationship and Looking for a Third will provide a revealing look at what happens when couples decide to take that step.
“OUTtv aims to show all facets of the queer experience by commissioning shows in the dating genre which are both authentic and fun – Looking for a Third promises to deliver on all fronts.”
OUTtv have continued to champion LGBTQIA+ representation across titles from comedy to drama and documentaries. Originals from the streamer include Call Me Mother, Gogo For The Gold, For The Love of DILFs, The Villbergs Chronicles, Iconic Justice, Hot Haus, Trixie Mattel: Skinny Legend, My Trans Journey and the documentary strand OutSpoken.
Back in March, Tiffany came out as queer in a clip with FrootUK. After highlighting that there have been ‘over 300 anti-queer laws written and passed’ within the first three months of the year, she told viewers: “What they are aiming to do is erase queerness.
“We’re proud of who we are and yes I’m queer too. No-one can eat a p***y like me.”
Tiffany, one of reality TV’s most iconic stars, provided viewers with another viral moment this year when she read her House of Villains co-star Omarosa for filth.
Looking for a Third enters production next summer and is slated for release in late 2024 on OUTtv.
