Mighty Hoopla has announced its incredible line-up for 2023.
London’s most vibrant and inclusive pop music festival returns to Brockwell Park on 3 and 4 June, and will feature performances from legends such as Kelly Rowland, Years & Years, Rachel Stevens, Aqua, Jake Shears, Kelis, Natasha Bedingfield and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
Years & Years’ Olly Alexander, Sunday’s headliner, said he’s “very excited” to return to the “fab queer extravaganza”.
“It’s been amazing to watch the festival grow over the years and I’m really thrilled to be part of such a stellar line-up of artists I really love!” he said in a statement.
“I promise to bring pleather, giant toilet cubicles, PVC and the gayest show ever to Brockwell Park. Together our collective gay power will be unmatched! It’s going to be really sexy and fun and I can’t wait!’”
Mighty Hoopla’s organiser Glyn Fussell described the upcoming festival as their “most mind blowing line-up” to date “with the full width and breadth of the pop universe,” while organiser Jamie Tagg added: “Beyond the line-up, practically every stage on the site will be upgraded and reimagined for 2022.
“Our audience can expect to see not only a much bigger production right across the park, but also new stages for emerging live acts, pop-up and comedy shows, as well as a brand-new dance tent filled with some of the best LGBTQ+ DJs and performers on the scene.
“This will be our first major site upgrade since moving to Brockwell Park and we can’t wait to show everyone what we have in store.”
Saturday tickets start from £69.50 and a booking fee, while Sunday tickets start from £54.50 and a booking fee. Weekend tickets start from £114.50 (and a booking fee!).
