The seventh elimination and the finalists have been revealed on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season five, and fans have a lot to say.
Spoilers ahead.
The penultimate episode saw the semi-finalists receive a comedy masterclass from resident funny man Alan Carr, ahead of the legendary roast under the theme of “Draginators Ring”.
The usual judging panel of RuPaul, Michelle Visage and Alan Carr were joined by comic and actress Aisling Bea as guest judge. The final four then continued to battle it out in this week’s runway “Poofs on Parade”.
DeDeLicious found herself with feedback of two halves. RuPaul praised her final look: “You know this outfit is like an editorialised version of the 80s, and it is perfection. It is another one that will go down in Drag Race Herstory. Joan Collins could never… fullstop!”
Yet, the sentiment flipped when discussing DeDe’s roast: “She had a lot of jokes. The majority of them were funny, however, a lot of them didn’t land.”
The decision was made for DeDeLicious and Tomara Thomas to go head to head in this week’s lip sync, performing to ‘Little Bird’ by Annie Lennox.
Sadly, DeDeLicious’ lip-sync survival streak ran out and she was told to sashay away. “My double D queen, you are delightful and de-gorgeous” Ru told the Kent queen.
In one final laugh she announced on the runway: “It looks like DeDeLicious, just got DeDeported. Oh No! Love y’all!”
In her exit interview, she continued: “I was so close to the top three…Tomara grrr! In all seriousness, I’m leaving on such a high note. I was a lip sync assassin, I took three people down. I’m going to DeDe smash my way out of here and go to bed!”
The 20-year-old posted about her experience on Instagram after the show aired: “DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD and that’s a wrap! The assassin has been ASSASSINATED.
“Honestly guys, this experience has been insane, the love you have all showed me has lifted me up so much and made this all that extra bit sweet. Not to be a MeMeLicious…
“BUT I have to say I’m proud of myself for undergoing such an intense competition at 20 years old and coming out as a semi finalist. Can’t wait to step into this next chapter in life and drag, Dede’s been reborn so let’s GO BITCHES.”

Fans were quick to react with one saying: “Honestly, I’m really sad this year they’re not having a top 4… cuz you WERE TOP 4 MATERIALZ-AH!”
Another added: “Based on the lip sync battle, you didn’t deserve to be eliminated! You were awesome on the show, such a shame you didn’t make the final. Be proud of yourself! You’re amazing!”
