Surprise, Drag Race fans! The guest judges for season five of Drag Race UK have just been announced, featuring the likes of Heartstopper starlet Yasmin Finney and Mighty Hoopla fave Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
Also revealed? A host of celeb faces who will pop up throughout the series including legendary stylist, author and British Vogue editor Edward Enninful OBE and Countdown queen Carol Vorderman.
Speaking of her appointment as guest judge, Yasmin Finney said; “I’m a guest judge and it feels out of this world! I felt like I was on another planet during filming… Planet Joy!”

Edward Enninful OBE was similarly enthusiastic about his own guest appearance, revealing that he’s a major fan of the franchise. “I’ve been an avid fan of Drag Race for many years, so much so that even my beloved Boston Terrier Ru, is named after the legend that is RuPaul,” he said.
Enninful then added; “I am honoured to join as a guest on this year’s show and look forward to seeing what incredible visions the queens have in store for us all.”

As the gift that keeps giving, here’s the full list of Drag Race UK season five celeb cameos:
- Vogue‘s Edward Enninful OBE will stop by the Werk Room with Ru to give queens fashion advice ahead of the design challenge.
- Snatch Game will welcome Carol Vorderman and Alexandra Burke as celeb players.
- Strictly’s Karen Hauer will bring her choreography and coaching skills as she helps the queens prepare for the Rusical challenge.
- Choreographer Claudimar Neto will guide finalists through a vocal and dance routine for the Finale Eleganza Extravaganza.

Details of when the new series will hit our screens are still to be announced but it’s been confirmed that the show will air on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer and that Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton will return as members of the judging panel alongside Ru Paul herself.
