The latest episode of Global All Stars featured one of the most unique lip-syncs in Drag Race herstory.

Spoilers ahead.

Following the departure of Soa de Muse, the eight remaining queens – Alyssa Edwards, Gala Varo, Kitty Scott-Claus, Kween Kong, Nehellenia, Pythia, Tessa Testicle and Vanity Vain – returned to the werkroom.

It didn’t take long for the ladies to praise Gala – who lip synced against Soa – on her performance skills, with them describing her as lip-sync assassin.

“I’m really happy to be here for another week. It was hard because I fight till the end,” the Drag Race Mexico star said in confessional.

The queens then showered Tessa with love due to her winning last week’s maxi-challenge.

“Tessa, you are really growing. You should be so proud of yourself,” Alyssa exclaimed.

In a confessional, Tessa added: “I didn’t even make it past episode five in my season, and now I’m already eyeing up my second win and putting full petal to the metal, you can keep the fucking brakes because I’m unstoppable.

The next day, Gala revealed to her Global All Stars sisters that she contemplated quitting the competition.

“I’m having fun. I’m having the best time of my life with you. I’m really happy, but sometimes it’s really hard to stop the voice in your head that says, ‘You can’t’, ‘You’re shit,’ she explained.

In response, the queens showered Gala in support by affirming her talent and encouraging her to confidently take on the new day.

After the heartwarming moment, Ru entered the workroom to task the queens with a photoshoot mini challenge in partnership with the LGBTQIA+ dating app Archer.

The ladies then got into “20-minute quick, thirst trap drag and delivered hilarious and camp profile pictures.

However, Gala proved to be victorious and was announced as the winner of the mini-challenge and a cash prize of $2,500.

Ru then announced this week’s maxi-challenge, the beloved Snatch Game of Love.

“This is your chance to show off your best celebrity impersonation while trying to win the heart of a hot international Snatchelor. Because if you can’t find love as yourself, try catfishing, Ru explained.

With their task in hand, the contestants got to work on their celebrity impressions.

Halfway through their preparation process, Ru returned to the workroom to give some advice and reveal that their Snatchelor suitors would be Drag Race España staple judges Los Javis.

After Ru’s departure, Pythia contemplated her original Snatch Game character (Arnold Schwarzenegger) after she was questioned about not choosing a Canadian or Greek personality.

“So now I’m thinking about it. I’m like, hmmm, Zeus would be so funny, she told Kitty, Vanity, Gala and Alyssa.

Ultimately, the queens and their Snatch Game characters were as follows: Kween as King Schlong, Vanity as Loreen, Gala as Laura León, Alyssa as Annie Oakley, Kitty as Princess Diana, Tessa as Susan Bartsch, Nehellenia as Valentino and Pythia as Zeus.

Throughout the challenge, Pythia, Nehellenia, Kween and Kitty appeared to be the standouts, with the foursome making Ru laugh the most.

Before the runway, Tessa, Kween, and Alyssa reflected on the Snatch Game performance.

While Tessa admitted that her performance wasn’t the best, the Drag Race Germany star gave herself some grace due to the Snatch Game being a hard challenge.

Instead of talking about her performance, Alyssa expressed her surprise over Pythia’s successful impersonation of Zeus.

“It was wild to watch Pythia just change her Snatch Game character that quick, and she delivered a very funny performance, the US star added in a confessional.

After chatting about blind dates, the queens headed to the runway to show off their sickening “Eat Me ensembles and receive critiques from Ru and the judges’ panel.

Pythia, Kitty, and Nehellenia were praised for their performances, while Gala, Vanity, and Tessa’s Snatch Game characters were given less than favourable reviews.

In the end, Ru named Kitty the winner of the maxi-challenge, before placing Gala and Vanity in the bottom two.

Unlike previous weeks, which featured pop songs, the two queens were tasked with lip-syncing to The Muppets’ song ‘Mah Na Mah Na, resulting in a comedy-heavy performance.

Ultimately, Ru named Vanity the winner, resulting in Gala sashaying away from the competition.

Shortly after the episode’s release, fans took to social media to react to this week’s unique lip-sync.

One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “This has to be the most INSANE lipsync we’ve ever seen on Drag Race like– I’m CRYING.”

Another fan tweeted: Non local drag race fans not understanding that this is more like what you might see at a local drag show is so funny. I’d kill to do this song on DR.”

On next week’s Drag Race Global All Stars, the queens will be tasked with starring in a rich international roast.
