The top four for Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs the World season two has been named, and fans are gagged.
Spoilers ahead.
In the penultimate episode, the queens were tasked with their biggest maxi-challenge yet.
“You know it’s one thing to be a good Judy. But it’s another to be Judy. It’s time to make your stars really sing because this week we’re doing a Rusical,” host Brooke Lynn Hytes explained.
“But not just any Rusical. Snatch Game: The Rusical. Nowadays, everything is being turned into a musical, and this week our beloved Snatch Game heads to Broadway North. As always, you’ll prepare your best celebrity impressions, but this time, you will also sing and dance.”
Before exiting the workroom, Brooke revealed that choreographer Hollywood Jade would create the group’s dance numbers. With their scripts and music, the queens got down to work on the upcoming Rusical.
In a confessional, Alexis Mateo opened up about the challenge’s high stakes.
“Everybody should be scared. This is not an easy challenge. This is going to be what separates the titans from the rest,” she exclaimed.
While most of the queens were nervous, Miss Fiercalicious didn’t let the looming challenge get her down, explaining to the others that it alleviates the pressure of Snatch Game.
“I’m excited because I did good in the Rusical and I was okay in Snatch Game. It’s the best of both worlds,” she added in a confessional.
The queens then went over the five songs before deciding which number each queen received.
However, there was a wee bit of drama during the process between Cheryl Hole and Kennedy Davenport, who both wanted to take on the “Requiem for a Bottom” ballad.
“Well, I’m sticking my feet in the ground,” Cheryl said.
In a confessional, Kennedy called out the UK star for claiming the song before listening to all the options.
“Can we, like, have a decent debate about this shit?” she added.
Despite the drama, the queens went on to assign the remaining four tracks – resulting in Alexis taking ‘A Snatch Game Can Change My Life,’ Lemon snagging ‘Best Damn Snatch Game in Herstory’, Fierce selecting ‘Mothers of the Snatch,’ and Kennedy begrudgingly taking ‘The Flop Tango.’
When asked if everyone was okay with their respective songs, Kennedy quickly said “no,” adding that she wasn’t mad. She just wanted her first song choice.
In response, Cheryl claimed she always put everybody else before her, which didn’t sit well with Alexis.
“When did you do all this? Like, you have never offered me shit,” the Puerto Rican queen asked.
While Cheryl reiterated that she’s always compromised in the past, Kennedy said they’ve all been in a similar position.
“First of all Miss Cheryl, you lying. You feel like you have not been speaking up in the past. So I’m just not buying it. You could have done better, Miss Cheryl,” the Texas-based queen added in a confessional.
After the drama-filled meeting, the queens met with Brooke to discuss their Snatch Game characters before heading to dance rehearsal with Hollywood.
During the creative process, Lemon and Kennedy thrived in their respective choreography, while Fierce and Alexis struggled to land their moves.
The next day, the queens returned to the workroom to get dolled up for their upcoming performance.
“I feel like this is the most fun I had this entire competition. Like doing the rehearsal with everyone, laughing and having a good time,” Fierce exclaimed.
Cheryl echoed similar sentiments before opening up about the difficulties of being away from her loved ones.
“I mean, for me, it’s my husband and my little doggie. My husband was at my first-ever gig, and we’ve been on this journey together,” the Drag Race UK star explained.
Kennedy also reflected on the difficulties of being away from family, adding that she cares for them when she’s home.
“This gives me a piece of accomplishment to know after I lost my dad, that’s what I’m supposed to do,” she explained.
Following their emotional werkroom confessions, the ladies headed to the mainstage to showcase their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, talent and celebrity impressions in Snatch Game: The Rusical.
Throughout the Broadway-level performance, the contestants brought to life Susan Boyle, Mother Teresa, Tabitha Brown, Queen Victoria, and baby Ron DeSantis while delivering comedic verses and sickening choreography.
After laying it all out on stage and showing off their ‘Summer of ’69’ ensembles, the ladies received critiques from the judges’ panel, including Grammy winner Alessia Cara and presenter Sarain Fox.
Ultimately, Lemon was named the challenge winner, resulting in Kennedy, Alexis and Fierce landing in the bottom.
While untucking backstage, things took an emotional turn when Kennedy broke down over her placement.
“It’s like being in the bottom this time is different from the first time. You just work hard, and it wasn’t good enough, and I tried,” she tearfully exclaimed.
Fierce also expressed her disbelief over being in the bottom, adding: “I really pushed myself this week. I got really good critiques overall. Even when I’ve been in the bottom in this competition, I still did a good job.”
In an additional confessional, Fierce expressed her hope of being saved by the Golden Beaver due to her favourable critiques from the judges.
Before heading back to the mainstage, Alexis spoke her piece on why she should be saved, leaning on track record as her main reasoning.
“Kennedy has two wins, I’ve got one, Fiercalicious has none,” she explained.
Ultimately, Lemon saved Kennedy, resulting in Alexis and Fierce lip-syncing to Alessia Cara’s Moana cover, ‘How Far I’ll Go.’
Following their electric performance, Brooke asked Alexis to stay and Fierce to sashay away.
“I did my best this competition, and it wasn’t enough. Lemon can do whatever she wants with the beaver. She earned it. Sabotage,” the Canadian queen said in her exit confessional.
Shortly after its release, fans flocked to social media to express their reactions to the episode.
One person wrote: “This is the first time Cheryl has made it to the finale, after competing three times, so happy for her.”
Another fan tweeted: “I don’t want to believe Fierce went home.”
A third fan added: “Went home, and she’s still the main character going into the finale djeidhdjdid send her that All Stars 11 invite.”
On the final episode of Canada vs the World season two, the top four will compete in the ultimate lip sync smackdown for the crown.

Fiercalicious has proven you can do everything right, win the most challenges (tied), wear the most insane fashion, show so much growth, display your culture unabashedly and beautifully, but if the show doesn’t see you in their final plan, you will be cast aside. pic.twitter.com/zAvPTuu9Hr
