The latest episode of Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs the World was filled to the brim with drama, and fans are living for it.

(Major spoilers ahead.)

Following Le Fil’s elimination, the remaining group of queens returned to the workroom to kiki about the second week of the competition.

After settling on the blue velvet couches, the ladies congratulated Tynomi Banks on winning the lip-sync.

In response, the Canada’s Drag Race star thanked Kennedy Davenport for making her lip-sync for her life, adding: “I’m just in my head sometimes, and the stage is my home for me. It really helped.”

Things took a messy turn when Eureka asked Kennedy about her decision to save Miss Fiercalicious with the golden beaver.

“A few things came into play as far as Le Fil, I just was really waiting for a joke. And the same happened with you Tynomi,” the Drag Race season seven star explained.

“It just so happened with what the judges said, and I saw, too. You know, but if I didn’t agree with the top or the bottom or whatever, nobody can make the decision but me.”

Kennedy went on to praise Miss Fiercalicious’ incredible runway ensemble before doubling down on her choice.

The next day, the queens returned to the workroom refreshed and ready to take on their next maxi-challenge. However, before they could dive in, Traci Melchor assigned them a chaotic mini-challenge.

“My global goddesses, as you continue to take over the world, the next step is becoming stars of the big screen, and in today’s mini-challenge, you’ll be auditioning for the lead role in the new animated film Draggy,” she explained.

Draggy will come to life through the magique of motion capture. So, to land the part, you’ll need to suit up. Your sides are waiting.”

Wasting no time, the ladies rushed to put on their motion capture attire before heading to the main stage to record their Draggy roles.

After a hilarious round of filming, Alexis Mateo was announced as the winner of the mini-challenge and $2,500 courtesy of Shoefreaks.

When the excitement died down, Traci revealed their third maxi-challenge of the season.

“Now that you’ve made a film, let’s keep it rolling because this week, we’re having a ball,” she exclaimed.

‘Welcome to the Drag Queen Ball Challenge. From the runway to this script all was created by our AI companion, Chat She-P-T. Here are the categories, you’ll serve ones and zeros realness as you strut the runway.

“Second category: The Robots Have Taken Over. Serve Roboty-oty-oty in a fabulous annihilation. Last category is Supermodels of the New World. Sewing is one of the skills drag queens should be proficient in. For this category, create a high fashion look with fabrics and notions from the werkroom.”

With their challenge set, the ladies got down to work on their designs.

During the creative process, Lemon opened up about being nervous due to her poor performance in the past.

She also asked if any of the other queens had similar experiences, resulting in Kennedy, Tynomi and Cheryl Hole raising their hands.

“On UK vs the World, going into that challenge, I was fully delusional thinking that I could work a machine,” Cheryl added.

“Coming into this, I took actual classes. But, what the fuck’s gonna come out, I do not know, so yeah.”

Alexis echoed similar sentiments, revealing that she landed in the bottom for the three design challenges she participated in during previous Drag Race runs.

“This is really anyones game… in the worse way,” Lemon exclaimed in a confessional.

While many of the queens expressed some form of distress over the challenge, Tynomi had a more optimistic outlook.

“This time, I know what I’m doing. So, I’m really excited to push myself into this,” she added in confessional.

Halfway through their creative process, Traci and guest judge Kirk Pickersgill entered the workroom, sharing a handful of tips for the queens’ and their designs.

On elimination day, the girls returned to the workroom to paint their faces and reveal their thoughts on what the future of drag will look like.

“I think it looks like us because it’s time with the political stance of our existence the way we express ourselves creatively,” Eureka explained.

“It’s all the same shit that everybody’s been teaching and passing down, even though some dolls can learn it on YouTube now.”

On the other side of the workroom, Cheryl gushed about how drag has already undergone noticeable changes, which have resulted in more diverse talent.

“I remember a time where it was just you’d go to a pub and see somebody in a sequin dress singing and telling jokes,” the UK performer explained.

“Whereas now there’s theme shows, there’s drag king cabarets, there’s so much inclusivity. It makes me so excited for the talent that were held back because there wasn’t a space for them.”

Following their heartfelt conversation, the queens headed to the main stage to show off their dazzling Drag Queen Ball ensembles.

While the majority of the contestants received favourable reviews, Alexis and her designs came out on top, with host Brooke Lynn Hytes naming her the winner of the maxi-challenge, $10,000, and the Golden Beaver privileges.

Before heading into the lip-sync , drama popped off backstage when Fiercalicious complained about her safe placement in the challenge.

“I’m honestly regretting coming back to this competition. I pushed myself so hard this week and then to hear that it wasn’t good enough is really upsetting,” she stated.

It didn’t take long for the other queens to call out Fiercalicious for her complaints.

“Fierce, can you shut up for a second, ’cause you’re in the top? I was close to a win, but I didn’t come in here pouting because I didn’t get the critiques I wanted,” Cheryl, who landed in the bottom alongside Kennedy and Tynomi, exclaimed.

Despite the lukewarm response, Fiercalicious continued expressing her grievances over the judges’ decision and even shaded Lemon for buying her catsuit online, which the former didn’t enjoy.

“Where did you buy your wigs? Bitch don’t try it,” Lemon said in response.

After Fiercalicious reiterated the amount of work she put into this week’s challenge, Eureka and Alexis shared their unfiltered opinions on the Canadian queen’s attitude.

“You know, I kiki with you, you’re my one, I’m your zero, but at the same time, like shut the fuck up. At the end of the day, this look is great, but you struggled, and there’s unfinished edges,” Eureka said.

Alexis added: “You just walk in here being in the top and you throw a tantrum like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to play with your toys no more.’ You’ve got to calm down when you have those very ignorant moments.”

Following the Fiercalicious drama, the conversation turned to the bottom three queens and their pleas for the Golden Beaver save.

While Kennedy and Cheryl gave heartfelt reasons on why they should stay in the competition, Tynomi had a blunt outlook on the situation.

“I really don’t give a fuck, um, it’s just frustrating hearing the judges keep on giving me negative things on the littlest things, and I’m just like smiling, but you know what? I’m ready to lip sync,” she said.

“Because I guess that’s my therapy. I’m pissed, so I just want to dance it out.”

Towards the end of their meeting, Tynomi and Fiercalicious got into a heated exchange after the latter asked Alexis if her Golden Beaver decision would be based on track record.

“Okay, but both scenarios, as you just said, equals me in the bottom for both… what is this question about? It’s unnecessary,” Tynomi said.

In response, Fiercalicious said that her question wasn’t aimed at Tynomi, adding: “Why are you upset that I asked Alexis a question?”

Ultimately, Alexis decided to save Kennedy, leaving Cheryl and Tynomi to lip-sync to Avril Lavigne’s hit song ‘What The Hell’.

Following their high energy and comedic performance, Brooke asked the Drag Race UK star to stay.

“I’m just really happy right now. I threw down some wicked runways. My growth, personally and physically, was leaving them stunned. This is not the last time you’re gonna see Miss Tynomi Banks. This body is blessed and highly favoured,” Tynomi said in her exit confessional.

Next week on Canada vs the World season two, the queens will face off in the first-ever reading battle.
