This week’s Drag Race Global All Stars result has elicited a… passionate response from viewers.

Following the shocking departure of Miranda Lebrão, the 10 remaining contestants – Alyssa Edwards, Eva Le Queen, Gala Varo, Kitty Scott-Claus, Kween Kong, Nehellenia, Pythia, Soa de Muse, Tessa Testicle and Vanity Vain – returned to the werkroom.

Vanity opened up to the ladies about being in the bottom, adding that she disagreed with the judges’ decision.

“The thing is that I was the weakest in my group. Then I don’t really agree that I should be in the bottom,” she explained.

When Kitty asked Vanity who she would have placed in the bottom, the Swedish talent selected Alyssa’s group.

“It felt like it was Alyssa’s show with backup dancers,” she responded.

The next day, the queens opened up about last week’s Untucked drama, which saw Nehellenia call out the other queens for counting her out as a competitor.

While reflecting on the confrontation, the Italian queen stated: “I was feeling very attacked because when Miranda said Nehellenia maybe is in the top two, a lot of you watched me like was impossible that I was in the top two.”

In response, Kween told Nehellenia that her feelings were valid before sharing her viewpoint of the situation.

“But when we were sitting there, it was very hard to not be upset because me and Kitty didn’t even get to talk about our critiques,” she said.

“So if I did come across really angry at you, I was. I apologize. In the moment, it just was a lot. But, new week, I can hear what you’re saying. I do not want you to feel that way.”

After seemingly putting the drama behind them, RuPaul invited the girls to read each other for filth in Drag Race’s staple mini-reading challenge. They didn’t hold back, but ultimately, Kitty conquered the shadefest.

For this week’s maxi-challenge, the queens starred in three “Boobie movie shequel” trailers, with the contestants splitting off into three teams.

Kitty, Kween and Alyssa made up the cast of Jurassic Boobie. Tessa, Vanity, Gala and Eva landed Frankieboobie. Lastly, Pythia, Nehellenia and Soa were given Boobies of the Caribbean.

After being tasked with their respective films, the queens selected their roles. Unlike past acting challenges, the casting process was quick and easy, bar Vanity and Gala – who played rock, paper, scissors for the role of ‘Werid Boobie’.

The ladies then headed to the soundstage to film their Boobie shequels with the help and guidance of Drag Race judges Michelle Visage and Jamal Sims.

Unsurprisingly, each group delivered hilarious hijinks and campy boobtastic moments throughout the filmmaking process.

The next day, the queens returned to the werkroom to get ready for the mainstage.

While painting their faces, Eva, Pythia and Gala opened up about the political climate for drag in their respective countries.

“In Canada, it’s pretty, I would say, very, very progressive. But the human rights in Greece is very behind, especially with queer rights,” Pythia explained.

Gala echoed similar sentiments regarding Mexico: “In some places, like Ciudad de Mexico, it’s really open. You can go to anywhere and see drag queens. But in other states, it’s really hard. They’re still killing people just for being fabulous.”

The pair went on to discuss the positive impact Drag Race has had on their family and community, with Pythia revealing that it repaired her relationship with her mother.

Gala added: “It’s so, so nice when I perform in some cities and some moms came with her children, and say, since I saw your story, I changed the way I saw life.”

After their heartwarming werkroom session, the ladies headed to the runway to watch their hilarious Boobie shequal trailers and showcase their best ‘Browntown’ ensembles.

In the end, Ru named Jurassic Boobie as the winning trailer and Kween the Global All Star of the Week.

“We are not the winner of this challenge. That is really interesting and questionable,” Soa said in a confessional. “But the girls who win the challenge was literally surprised they win the challenge. But that’s the game.”

After the winning team was excused from the runway, Ru revealed to the remaining queens that no one was safe from elimination due to the close competition.

During the judges’ critiques, Tessa, Pythia and Soa were praised for their performances and runways, while Eva, Gala, Vanity and Nehellenia received mixed reviews.

Following an emotional Untucked, Ru placed Eva and Gala in the bottom two and tasked them with lip syncing to A-Ha’s ‘Take On Me’.

Throughout their 80s-infused performance, the two talents delivered spins, drama, camp, and electric energy.

Ultimately, Ru named Gala the winner, resulting in Eva sashaying away from the competition.

Since its release, fans have flocked to social media to express their disappointment in who was in the bottom two and this week’s elimination.

One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “It’s so upsetting that all my fears for Global All Stars have come true like I knew the international queens were going to be paid dust.

Another fan echoed similar sentiments, tweeting: “WHOEVER IN PRODUCTION RUINED THIS AMAZING CONCEPT OF A GLOBAL ALL STAR SEASON …………….AND IS WASTING THESE INTERNATIONAL QUEENS TIME….WHEN I CATCH YOU.”

Some viewers also claimed that they were no longer watching the series, with one viewer writing: “Um yeah I think im gonna opt out of watching the rest of Global All Stars… I cant take the riggery anymore. Congrats Alyssa.”

On next week’s Drag Race Global All Stars, the queens will be tasked with creating their own cocktail dress.
