Y’all need to get out more.
That’s why this week we’re looking towards some new things you could try out in the month of May, because you’re stuck in a rut… and the people you see every Friday and Sunday at the Two Brewers know it too.
Try some exhibitions, a talk to sort out your insides or even just a new place to drink, ideal.
Gut health talk with The Mac Twins at Tibits, Heddon Street – Book now
Because you’re an indulgent queen who likes to take care of her insides as well as her outside (and because you royally buggered up any form of healthy eating/drinking/living responsibly on the Bank Holiday weekend), co-founders of the The Gut Stuff, DJ’s Alana and Lisa Macfarlane (also known as the Mac Twins) are giving a talk on gut health and everything they know on the matter. That’s nice of them isn’t it? An evening filled with food, drinks and multiple ways to make yourself a better human, perfect – book tickets now before they’re gone (and because you don’t need to spend another Tuesday evening at G-A-Y bar).
Eat at Dalloway Terrace – Book now
Whether you’re brunching, lunching, dining or just drinking, Dalloway Terrace is our new favourite hotspot to enjoy London’s currently beautiful weather, while enjoying exquisite food and avoiding burning to death in the sun (because that’s just never cute). Set just off Tottenham Court Road in the Bloomsbury Hotel, the terrace is the best way to enjoy alfresco dining and the menu will slay your entire existence with new faves like Dorset Crab on toast and Lobster and Crayfish Mac and Cheese. Yum!
Azzedine Alaïa: The Couturier Exhibition at the Design Museum – Book now
Because the last cultural thing you did was go to an art gallery three years ago (and that was only because they were giving out free mini sausage rolls), this month head to the Alaïa exhibition. In the first solo exhibition of his work ever, and curated by him before his death in 2017, it ‘charts his incredible journey from sculptor to couturier, his nonconformist nature and his infectious energy for fashion, friendship and the female body’ – not one to be missed.
Head to the Coppa Club ‘Paradise Pods’ at Tower Bridge – Book now
Remember those igloos that everyone was sat in last Christmas looking literally as smug as smug can be and posting it all over their Insta story whilst you sat in and at Nutella out of the jar whilst watching The Holiday for the 475th time? Well this summer they’re back decked out as ‘paradise pods’ – with views of the famous skyline and with a beach bar and bohemian terrace, you should really hit them up before they sell out – don’t forget to gram it either.
