What’s the COVID-19 policy for SKITTLES® GAY TIMES Honours?
We are committed to protecting all of our guests, staff and performers.
To enter the event you should be both:
- Fully vaccinated
- Negative in a lateral flow test. The test must be taken in the 72 hours before the event begins.
Note: there are exceptions to the policy listed at the end of this section.
Step 1: Show your full vaccination status
For ticket holders who were vaccinated in the UK, you must show:
- Proof of full vaccination – both doses received at least 14 days prior to the event
- Demonstrated via the NHS App (COVID-19 Pass), your vaccination card or via the Scottish or Welsh vaccination record services.
For ticket holders who were vaccinated outside of the UK, you must show:
- Proof of full vaccination – both doses received at least 14 days prior to the event
- Demonstrated via a certificate, accredited public health app, PDF or email confirmation.
Step 2: Accepted ways to show your negative lateral flow test (LFT) status
- NHS confirmation text message, or
- Text, PDF or certificate from a certified test provider, or
- Take a photograph of your negative result with value photographic ID adjacent. You should write the date of test on the test kit itself.

You can also use a private provider or a pharmacy to get a test immediately.
Most tests you do yourself. They are quick and easy.
Exemptions – other ways to enter the event
If you are fully vaccinated but haven’t taken a lateral flow test before arrival, you can:
- Show a positive PCR test within the past 6 months. This will mean you have natural immunity.
- You are only eligible after you’ve finished self-isolating and up to 180 days after taking the positive test result.
If you have not been vaccinated, you can:
- Enter by showing a negative lateral flow test (LFT) result in the previous 72 hours.
Important: if your lateral flow test (LFT) returns a positive result. Do not come to the event and follow public-health guidance.

How do I get to Magazine London for SKITTLES® GAY TIMES Honours delivered by Gorillas?
Getting to Magazine London is really easy on the tube. North Greenwich station is less than a 5-minute walk away, meaning you can get there via the Jubilee line.
As for getting there by bus, the 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, and 486 stop at North Greenwich station.
There is also the option to arrive via car or taxi, but be aware that it is close to the O2 Arena and you should anticipate delays with traffic so give yourself plenty of time.
When will SKITTLES® GAY TIMES Honours delivered by Gorillas take place?
You should refer to your invitation and confirmation emails for your arrival time.
Is there food and drink available for purchase?
VIP Guests should refer to email communications for their food and drink service.
For General Admission guests, complimentary welcome drinks and snacks will be provided by our partners. There is also paid bar.
There are streetfood-style vendors where you can purchase food.
The entire venue is cashless. Contactless payment options are the only way to pay.
What’s the dress code for SKITTLES® GAY TIMES Honours delivered by Gorillas?
This isn’t your traditional black-tie event – we’re queer so it’s only natural we challenge the status quo. Therefore the dress code is simply your best self! We want you to come along expressing your style as boldly and proudly as you want. If that’s a sharp suit, billowing ball gown, or a more smart-casual affair, we welcome all types of fashion choices.
Will there be security in place?
Full security will be in operation throughout the evening. Magazine London operates an airport-style search upon entry. Anyone in the possession of illegal drugs will be removed from the venue.
Can I bring a bag?
Guests are not permitted to bring any bag larger than a sheet of A4 paper. Space in our cloakrooms is limited.
Will there be cameras?
GAY TIMES Honours will be recorded for use across all media types. By attending GAY TIMES Honours, you agree to feature in this footage.
What accessibility provisions have you made?
This venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Please email honours@gaytimes.co.uk if you have accessibility requirements.
Can I bring medication?
Yes! People who require prescribed medications that appear as pills or insulin, please arrive with your medication clearly marked with your name. We respect medication users.
Anything else I need to know?
Please report anyone who displays body/gender negative behaviour to staff.
Any transphobia, misogyny, racism, body shaming, ableism, drunk and disorderly behaviour and physical violence are not tolerated in any form. Any persons exhibiting these behaviours will be immediately escorted out by security. Always act from a place of respect, kindness, and consent.
