Activewear brand lululemon have appointed Joe Wicks as their new Global Ambassador.
The British fitness coach – who kept millions active with his daily PE lessons during the height of lockdown last year – will launch a bespoke content series this summer, that will include workout regimes and tips on improving wellbeing.
“I’m absolutely buzzing about becoming lululemon’s new Global Ambassador,” says Joe Wicks. “I’ve lived and trained in some of their products for years and the quality is just incredible.
“I’ve always loved their focus on community and local events. I share an ambition with the brand to help engage people in fitness, regardless of their background, age or ability.
“I’m looking forward to connecting with their communities, helping to inspire more people to feel fitter, happier and healthier.”
Michelle Davies, VP of Global Sports Marketing & Partnerships, lululemon, adds: “Joe has inspired millions of people from diverse backgrounds and fitness levels to improve their wellbeing via his energetic and fun training sessions.
“We’re thrilled to welcome him to our community as a Global Ambassador. We share a vision to ignite communities and inspire a generation to celebrate health in all forms, from physical to mental wellbeing.”
The content partnership – which is Wicks’ first ever apparel sponsor – will also hear the fitness coach speak on his own personal experiences during lockdown.
Joe Wicks will be the Global Ambassador under the brand’s growing Train category, which you can view here.
