French bar and bistro TraTra is launching Shoreditch’s most decadent Sunday lunch from the 27th May 2018. The new Sunday feast also marks the venue’s extended opening hours: six days a week for lunch.
The flamboyant French feasting menu will offer guests generous charcuterie and Croque Monsieur, as well as indulgent slow cooked sharing dishes and bottomless French fizz. Located within Redchurch Street’s landmark The Boundary Project, TraTra’s ultimate Sunday lunch menu has been created by award-winning chef and cookery writer Stéphane Reynaud, celebrated for his hearty French cooking and Ripailles, (to feast). The grandson of a boucher, he has included an incredible selection of Ardèche charcuterie for the feasting entrées at the table, as well as a selection of Croque Monsieur.
If diners still have room after the feast, they can choose from TraTra’s decadent dessert menu, which includes the restaurant’s award-winning Salted Caramel Fondant (£7.50), Lime Posset with White Chocolate Mousse (£6.50) and Strawberry Vacherin (£6).
Drinks are taken just as seriously as food at TraTra. To accompany the Sunday lunch, diners can enjoy bottomless French fizz or order from TraTra’s extensive drinks menu, which features a thoughtful selection of wine, beer and cocktails, including the venue’s signature TraTra French 75 cocktail of Cognac, Peach and Fizz.
The feast is served in the depths of the impressive Victorian warehouse building with elevated ceilings, exposed brickwork and a relaxed dining experience. Buzzing with live jazz and a lively cocktail bar, guests will be treated to classic French and soulful comfort food dishes, reimagined for a Shoreditch crowd.
