From the horniest cities in America to favourite places to cruise and most valuable positions, Sniffies has released its annual download of user habits.
Los Angeles has been ranked as the horniest city in the US, followed by New York, Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta – respectively.
The final line-up is based on the highest number of sessions recorded based on geographic area, according to analysis of platform data and metrics across 2023, to reveal key user trends.
Sniffies is an interactive, map-based cruising platform for gay, bi and curious guys. Users find connections through a map interface that shows both nearby guys and popular cruising destinations.
The UK takes the top spot for horniest country followed by Canada, Australia, Ireland and Mexico.
Not only did the UK take first place for the horniest country, it’s capital city London won ‘Rookie of the Year’ with a usership growth on the app of 475 per cent.
Sniffies also evaluated the highest reported position across its user profiles. Vers took top spot (25.6 per cent), then top (15.7 percent), bottom (15.1 per cent), vers-bottom (13.6 per cent) and vers-top (10 per cent).
Interestingly, Sniffies have reported that in 2023 there was a 290 per cent growth in straight-curious users, this figure was based on reported orientation in profiles.
A similar trend can be seen from other 2023 round-ups. Pornhub recently dropped its annual analysis of the world’s most searched porn terms, it reported on trends based on different categories among those watching gay porn, known as “Pornhub Gay Insights”.
The largest climber on the Pornhub ranking was ‘curious straight friend’, up 27 places since last year to become the sixth most searched term.
