From ‘twink’ to the ‘MILF’, Pornhub has dropped its annual analysis of the world’s most searched porn terms in 2023.
In the 10th annual addition of the list, it was revealed that the top trend of the year was mature porn. Popularity of the search term grew by 77 per cent since 2022.
‘MILF’ became the second most searched term globally, while ‘DILF’ grew 71 per cent.
Size continued to matter with search terms for ‘big’, ‘bigger’ and ‘biggest’ up by 177 per cent, on the previous year.
The largest infiltrator of the top three trends identified by the pleasure provider was the growth in AI.

Searches for ‘android’ were up 1,689 per cent over the year.
The increase in these searches has been attributed to video game related searches, as well as the development of sex robots that has piqued people’s curiosity, Dr Laurie Betito, Clinical Psychologist and sex expert, explained when reviewing the findings.
“Search trends over the years always coincide with what’s trending in technology. Right now, we are seeing a lot about the development of ‘sex robots,’ so who wouldn’t be curious about that?”
In addition to the overall trends identified, Pornhub has further filtered down user trends based on different categories among those watching gay porn, which it has called “PornhubGay Insights”.
