The self-described “world’s strongest gay” has married his partner.
In a touching post on Instagram, Rob Kearney, one of the world’s strongest men, announced that he had married fellow strongman Joey Aleixo on a beach in Australia over the weekend (17 March).
“To call this man my husband is a dream come true and he is and always will be my soulmate. I am so excited to start this new journey as a married couple and my heart has never been so full of love,” he wrote.

In a similar post, Joey wrote: “Today is the day that I OFFICIALLY MARRIED MY BEST-FRIEND! You will always have my heart and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us.”

The wedding wasn’t the only milestone for Rob over the weekend, who took first place at the Australian Arnold Sports Festival, qualifying him for the next Arnold festival which will be in Columbus.
Fans have displayed an outpouring of love for the couple, leaving comments underneath the pictures.
“You are a great athlete and you are a great inspiration for me! We need people like you! congratulations again,” wrote one Instagram user.
“How beautiful is love, I’m so happy for both of you,” added another.
