Adele celebrated Pride with her LGBTQ+ fans during her BST Hyde Park performance.
For the last decade, the Someone Like You singer has made massive waves within the music industry.
From her four critically-acclaimed albums to her numerous awards, the vocal powerhouse has cemented herself as a legend in the making.
Alongside her expansive career as one of music’s most in-demand artists, Adele has also been a longstanding ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
Throughout the years, the Chasing Pavements singer has openly discussed her love for her queer fans.
In 2016, she described the LGBTQ+ community as her soulmates during a performance dedicated to the victims of the tragic Pulse Nightclub shootings.
“I would like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando and at Pulse nightclub last night… The LGBTQ+ community, they’re like my soulmates since I was really young, so I’m very moved by it,” she said.

She even wrote one of her most popular songs, Set Fire to the Rain, as a queer anthem. She also got ordained so she could officiate the ceremony of her close friend and comedian Alan Carr.
On 2 July, she continued to showcase her dedicated allyship during her recent concert at BST Hyde Park Festival.
While belting out the lyrics to the beloved track, When We Were Young, Adele switched between waving and wearing a Progressive Pride flag.
“Happy Pride. I wore my hair out today to try and be a bit draggy,” she told the crowd.
Shortly after her performance, fans took to social media and praised the Grammy-winning artist for supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
One user wrote: “Adele draped in a Pride flag singing When We Were Young?? I didn’t shed a tear it was raining okay.”
Another fan tweeted: “I’m crying all over again, seeing Adele wave that pride flag. I can’t tell what this woman has done for me as a gay man.”
