Cher fans rejoice! The music icon has unveiled the cover art for her first-ever Christmas album.

Back in June, the Grammy-winning talent announced that she was releasing the festive record on Twitter.

“Many surprises. This is Cher’s [Christmas] album. Not ur mamas [Christmas album],” she wrote.

“It’s scary to make something so Different. I [love it]. One [song] is one of my favorites EVER!”

Since that fateful day, Cher has remained mum on the details surrounding the album… until now.

On 7 September, the Burlesque star surprised fans when she released the album’s official artwork.

In the photo, Cher is standing on top of a snow mound in a 70s-inspired dress shirt and bedazzled flare jean combo, whilst silver and red tree ornaments float around her.

In addition to the aforementioned details, the ornaments feature sickening mini reflections of the ‘Strong Enough’ singer.

“Are you spending Christmas with me?” she wrote in the caption.

Of course, fans were rightfully gagged, with many expressing their excitement on social media.

“OMFGGGGG I KNOW IT’S A LIIIIL EARLY BUT LIKE…. I’VE BEEN WAITING!!!! FOR A CHER CHRISTMAS ALBUM!!!! I AM SO F**ING READYYYYYY,” one fan wrote.

Another person echoed similar sentiments by writing: “I’m not into Christmas music, but this album might be the only thing I want this year.”

The album artwork comes a few days after Cher opened up about the album during an interview on Good Morning Britain.

“I really am proud of this [album]. It’s a Christmas album that’s a Cher Christmas album,” she explained.

The beloved talent also teased that Cher’s Christmas will feature a handful of duets.

“I’m really, really excited because there’s millions of people on it! I’ve never had duets! I’ve never had people on any of my records! This was a last-minute thing. I’m kind of a last-minute girl,” she teased.

When asked for more details about the mysterious artists, the ‘After All’ talent responded: “I can’t, I can’t. But they’re special. I mean, I’m in awe of all of them.”

While Cher is keeping tight-lipped about the highly anticipated record, she did reveal to The Hollywood Reporter that reimaginings of classic songs like ‘Silent Night’ will not be included.

Cher’s foray into the holiday music sphere comes over five years after she released her ABBA tribute album Dancing Queen – which received universal acclaim from fans and critics and became her highest debut sales week for an album in the US.

As of this writing, a release date for Cher’s Christmas has yet to be announced.
