Multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Lauv is back with new single ‘Love U Like That’ ahead of his international tour this autumn.
The track is a euphoric summer banger and ode to a partner, with lo-fi drums and sparkling synths allowing Lauv’s voice to stand at the forefront.
“I’m so insanely proud of this new song because it marks the beginning of a new era for me,” the 28-year-old explains. “A song about realising you’re into something you didn’t think you were into and empowering yourself to go for it and not judge yourself and let society or ideas sway you from it. It’s the beginning of a journey, it’s a proud start.”
The single follows last year’s All 4 Nothing, Lauv’s sophomore album, which released to critical acclaim.

The American pop singer is touring Europe, the UK and Australia this autumn. The Between Albums Tour begins 3 October in Amsterdam and closes 26 October in Brisbane. His UK headline show is 12 October at Eventim Apollo in London.
