Australian singer-songwriter MAY-A has released her latest single, ‘Something Familiar’, from her upcoming EP, Analysis Paralysis.
The track was previewed last month in a Pride collaboration with WEBTOON, on a webcomic anthology celebrating LGBTQ+ love.
“This song feels like a sweeter sibling to ‘Sweat You Out My System’,” the former Amplify star explained. “Continuing the theme of being addicted to somebody that you’re not quite able to kick.
“The sad familiarity of a person, their house and their lungs, no matter how much time you spend away from them, everything feels like it goes back to that time you were together when you see them again.”

The EP follows 2021’s Don’t Kiss Ur Friends, MAY-A’s critically acclaimed debut.
Between a collaboration with electronic superstar Flume and tours with 5 Seconds of Summer and Wallows, the 21-year-old has had a busy year.
