Sam Smith and Madonna have announced that they will soon release a brand new single together called ‘Vulgar’.
The song’s artwork shows the duo in tightly cinched black-and-white corsets with their initials, “S&M”, emblazoned over it in bright pink letters.
It is scheduled to be released during Pride Month on 9 June, with little known beyond that.
‘Vulgar’ was first teased on 24 May, when Sam told those attending their ‘Gloria the Tour’ show in Manchester that there would be a “surprise” after the last song.
However, the ‘Love Me More’ singer was never able to share this with fans as they had to stop the show four songs in due to a vocal cord injury.

“Today in soundcheck I felt fine and was so excited to give Manchester an amazing show tonight, with a special surprise at the end,” they wrote on social media shortly after the show came to an abrupt end.
“During my third song, I noticed something wrong with my voice. I prayed it was just my voice waking up for the show but into the fourth song I could feel something was really wrong.”
Sam explained that they “tried everything” to get their voice “back in gear” but nothing worked.
“I am honestly heartbroken I couldn’t finish the show tonight for you all,” they continued. “I love you all. I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry.”
‘Gloria’ became Sam Smith’s third number one album in the UK
The tour is in support of the singer’s fourth studio album ‘Gloria’, which debuted at number one in the UK.
‘Gloria’ also debuted at number one on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, holding off fierce competition from ‘The Highlights’ by The Weeknd, ‘Midnights’ by Taylor Swift and ‘SOS’ by SZA to top both charts during its release week.
