George Michael’s legendary back catalogue was celebrated by GAY TIMES and Apple Music with a rooftop Pride party at The Standard hotel in King’s Cross, London.

Layton Williams, Max Harwood, Harriet Rose, Poppy Ajudha and Drag Race UK stars Ella Vaday, Kitty Scott-Claus and Charity Kase were among the many names in attendance on 29 June.

The event took place to commemorate the Faith singer’s music being made available in Spacial Audio for the first time, with Apple Music recruiting a group of LGBTQ+ artists to reinterpret some of George’s most iconic hits.

The impressive roster includes Years & Years, MNEK, Jake Shears, SELF ESTEEM, Billy Porter, Pale Waves, Calum Scott, Tiana Major9 and Serpentwithfeet.

All nine tracks were played in full at the rooftop party, where there were also DJ sets from ABSOLUTE, Nimmo and Sue Veneers Club.
