From 29 June to 1 July, the LGBTQ+ community and its allies assembled at GAY TIMES’ Pride Placard Pop-Up to express their pride and celebrate love in all its forms.

GT’s vibrant pop-up space, which took place at 59-61 Regent Street, included a range of exciting initiatives and events – as well as drinks from Top Cuvee! – designed to create connections, encourage conversation and for guests to unleash their creativity ahead of the London Pride parade.

From the interactive placards to creative workshops led by artist Hannah Dickins, as well as a badge making initiative from Badge Café, the Pride Placard Pop-up become an integral part of Pride in London celebrations.

Additionally, talks were provided by intersex equality campaigner, artist and writer Valentino Vecchietti, who memorably created the viral Intersex-Inclusive Pride flag that hang throughout Regent Street, and our charity partner Micro Rainbow.

Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Micro Rainbow; an organisation that supports LGBTQ+ asylum seekers and refugees, facilitating access to safe housing, employment and education, as well as helping provide social inclusion activities for those faced with extreme isolation.
