Singer-songwriter Fletcher is bringing drama to The L Word: Generation Q, as she’s joined the cast for its third season.
She confirmed the news on her social media on 22 September.
“It’s official,” wrote the 28-year-old. “#TheLWord needed more drama for Season 3…so they invited me to be on it. we did it fam.”
She then shared a video compilation of tweets from fans who said they’d love to see her on the show, before it cut to a shot of a trailer on set with her name on it.
This isn’t the first time Fletcher’s been part of The L Word universe.
Her song ‘Bitter’ was featured in a previous episode.

The star has also joked that her recent relationship drama in the lead up to her debut album felt like she was living in the show.
Fletcher was caught up in speculation when she released a song titled ‘Becky’s So Hot’, which is said to be about her ex-girlfriend Shannon Beveridge’s new partner, Becky.
The music video for the track stars Bella Thorne as the titular character.
The singer was unfazed by the backlash and stated: “The thing with the name Becky is it’s a pop trope. People have been using names in music forever, right?”
Fans are keen to see the singer ramp up the drama on Generation Q, which has had far fewer twists and turns than the original series it’s based off of.
Fletcher joins a cast of LGBTQ+ guest stars including Kehlani, Joey Lauren Adams, Margaret Cho and Joanna Cassidy.
Season three of The L Word: Generation Q has confirmed a November premiere.
