FX and Ryan Murphy have dropped a new teaser trailer and character images for American Horror Story season 11.
Towards the end of October, horror enthusiasts will finally be able to sink their teeth into AHS: NYC.
To get fans in the spirit, FX dropped a creepy teaser trailer for the new batch of episodes on 6 October.
In the short visual, clips of New York City and a crowded dark nightclub flash across the screen.
The teaser then promises a “season like no other” before hinting that it will take place during “the deadliest year.”
Of course, it wouldn’t be an AHS trailer without a substantial amount of blood, gore and sex appeal.
Towards the end of the video, a mysterious individual in a spiked mask appears in the aforementioned nightclub – which results in terrified reactions from the attendees.
Alongside the new teaser, FX and Murphy also unveiled three new posters of Zachary Quinto as Sam, Charlie Carver as Adam, and Russell Tovey as Patrick.
As the title suggests, the new season is set to take place in the Big Apple and will most likely highlight the infamous Studio 54 era, as previously reported by Digital Spy.
Billie Lourd, Isaac Cole Powell, Patti LuPone, Sandra Bernhard, and Leslie Grossman will all also be joining Quinto, Carver, and Tovey as key players.
“In American Horror Story: NYC, mysterious deaths and disappearances ramp up in the city. Meanwhile, a doctor makes a frightening discovery, and a local reporter becomes tomorrow’s headline,” the official synopsis reads.
The first two episodes of AHS: NYC are set to release on FX on 19 October, with two new episodes dropping every Wednesday following its premiere
