Bad Education star Layton Williams delivered an incredible performance in drag on the recent episode of Strictly Come Dancing.
For “Movie Week,” the beloved talent and his partner Nikita Kuzmin danced a Viennese waltz to the heartbreaking song ‘There Are Worse Things I Could Do’ from the popular movie musical Grease.
At the start of their performance, Williams is shown strutting across a makeshift Rydell High set dressed as the iconic Pink Ladies leader Betty Rizzo, who Stockard Channing originally played.
After sharing a yearning glance with Kuzmin’s version of Kenickie – the T-Bird leader – the two waltzed across the stage, delivering drama, intrigue and passion.
Towards the end of their routine, the pair performed a stunning move in which Williams was swung inches away from the dance floor by his arm and leg.
Shortly after their performance, fans flocked to social media to praise the Everybody’s Talking About Jamie star for his dancing and iconic drag ensemble.
One fan on X (formerly known as Twitter) wrote: “You were brilliant tonight @LaytonWilliams and got all my votes, absolutely served Stockard Channing realness. Ignore the trolls, people throw rocks at things that shine.”
Another viewer posted: “@LaytonWilliams as Rizzo is something I didn’t know I needed in my life. LOVED IT! #strictly.”

Fans of Williams also criticized the show’s judges for their “picky” critiques and giving the duo a score of 28 points.
“Layton & Nikita should not be that low on the leaderboard,” one fan commented, with another viewer writing: “Layton was done DIRTY with those scores.”
Williams’ incredible drag-led performance comes a week after he told GAY TIMES that he would “never butch it up” during his run on the series.
“I am an actor, so I could give you different vibes!” he revealed. “There are many sides to Layton. Sometimes I’m a butch queen, sometimes I’m a femme queen, sometimes I’m whatever I want to be. So, you will be getting that on Strictly because that’s what I’m like in real life. But, I won’t be butching it up for anybody but me.”
Williams also delivered a powerful statement on rising above the anti-LGBTQIA+ hate he has received from some of the show’s bigoted viewers.
“I’m not here to please anybody who is not about me. I’m here to have a ride and enjoy my time with Nikita,” he exclaimed.
“I’m not here to teach lessons or preach. Me being on Strictly and being myself is almost an act of defiance.”
