PLATE RESTAURANT x E.J. CHURCHILL CLAY SHOOTING ESTATE
Plate Restaurant in Shoreditch are offering a special package allowing couples to enjoy the best of the city and the countryside, all in one romantic day. Starting in the morning as guests arrive at Plate, where they will be personally chauffeured to E.J. Churchill to enjoy an hour long clay morning shoot. Once they have completed the shoot on the beautiful grounds of the estate, they will then be taken back to a warming lodge to enjoy a taster of Plates champagne and smoked salmon. Couples then have the opportunity to enjoy the grounds of the estate before they are taken back to Plate at midday, where they can relax and enjoy the incredible Versace spa located in the M by Montcalm hotel alongside Plate. To finish off the day, couples will then sit down to a specially designed 7-course set menu, created by Plates’ owner and award-winning head chef, Arnaud Stevens. To coincide with the new launch of the Bingham Riverhouse, located romantically on the water in Richmond, the hotel are offering a Valentine’s Day sharing menu including Truffle arancini, duck parfait and cod mousse and Cornish rock oysters with pickled cucumber and oyster leaf. The hotel is set just a stones throw away from the water and the newly refreshed interiors are giving us all sorts of chic soho-house vibes – plus the rooms are also beautiful, with some including huge copper baths (big enough for two). Beginning with the ‘Romance in the Sky’ option where guests are taken up to the lounge bar, which boasts incredible panoramic views of the city at night, the Sky Bar will then provide a welcome Champagne cocktail. After, you’ll sit down to an indulgent five-course dinner, specially prepared for the evening with the finest organic seasonal ingredients.
